AnswerTrack System Requirements...

• Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/2003 Server for the main AnswerTrack engine installation, listening on port 25 for inbound forwarded email. An IIS webserver with MS SMTP installed makes an ideal main box, as long as another application is not already listening on port 25. Optionally, the engine may be installed on an IMail, VOPmail, and many other NT-based mailservers which can listen on port 25 and pass inbound messages to a command-line trigger we include.
• Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) v5 or higher to serve the web interface. This may be a separate box from the main AnswerTrack engine, as long as both boxes connect to the same Access or SQL Server datasource.
• Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or MSDE 2000 for the backend database.
• Agents use any RFC-compliant email client for handling Issues. The web interface is compatible with Internet Explorer and Netscape v4 and higher browsers.
